Mission

Our goal at BlackWolf Rottweilers is to produce excellent breed type, strong working ability with a stable and sound temperament. We are not a puppy mill. We will only place our dogs in responsible homes. Our puppies are well socialized with our entire family including but not limited to our children. We believe that rottweilers are pets first. They are fantastic working dogs; as well as, show dogs. Here at BlackWolf Rottweiler we make every effort to place the right puppy with the right family for the most rewarding ownership experience. It is important that the new home provide positive stimulation for you and the puppy.

Temperament is the key to a balanced rottweiler, which derives from a working line. It is mandatory that our dogs demonstrate a friendly disposition towards people; in addition to, protecting the family and home. Here at BlackWolf Rottweilers we strive for great temperaments. With the publicity on this breed, it is important that our dogs demonstrate clean character whenever they are out in the public. All of our dogs are a big part of our family and they must know their place in the pack.

What we feed our dogs is very important to us here at BlackWolf, so we feed our dogs a natural diet which consists of raw meaty bones, organ meat; beef hearts, liver, kidney, tongue, green tripe, chicken backs, chicken wings, turkey necks and ground turkey and beef.  All of our puppies born here at our kennel have been fed this diet; even some of our new puppy owner's have adopted this diet.   

Why we feed our dogs the raw diet? Like most pet owner's I was skeptical of this diet, but after a series of hot spots on my dogs I started to think it was the brand of dry dog food  I was feeding them so I switched to another brand only to find out that the problem persisted.  After several months of researching a better diet for our dogs, I came across the BARF diet, which means Bones and Raw Food and some my call it "Born Again Raw Feeders".  Carefully I read up on this diet and started putting a plan together to switch to this diet.  It has been 7+ years that our dogs have been on this diet and we are happy with the benefits it gives them.
